Tiburon is a trendy restaurant focusing on unique Caribbean seafood dishes. Known locally for it's Lobster Tacos, the menu does not fail to impress. My husband and I went to Tiburon on our anniversary for a much-needed night out, and it was the perfect destination. We arrived early since we had a show to get to, and were surprised to see that we were one of the first to arrive for dinner dining. Our reservation was for 5:30. Upon questioning the waiter, we learned that business heats up and reservations are scarce starting around 7pm.
The Lobster Tacos were AMAZING. We also indulged in 2 appetizers and another main dish, as well as 2 desserts. Everything was perfect-- we were not disappointed by anything we tried.
I was impressed by their monthly specials menu-- a menu that offers special seafood dishes from a particular region or Caribbean country. If I had been more daring, I may have tried more from it!
The service was excellent-- not too attentive, but always there when we needed them. They were very helpful in helping us choose cocktails to go with our particular food dishes and were very knowledgeable about the menu items.
The decor is awesome. Through the center of the dining room is a huge aquarium filled with exotic fish and other underwater creatures. Lighting is muted and design focuses on clean lines and subtle bold colors.
I highly recommend this restaurant -- I will go back often!
