BAD EXPERIENCE. Male, 9-yr-old healthy cat with urinary tract infection symptoms. Seen by Dr. Berlin (only works Wednesdays). Even tho my cat is obviously very healthy and I told the doctor he had a urinary tract infection with successful use of antibiotics over 3 yrs ago, she insisted on a series of expensive tests, $256.00. She refused my request to provide antibiotics and send him home to carefully watch for a day or two, increase treatment if necessary. Dr. Berlin did not detect an infection in the tests, she said she could only be sure if she sent a culture to a lab, for additional fee, of course. She saw a live flea in his fur, treated him for fleas and nothing else, charged me $256.00. I took my cat to the Shively Animal Clinic, they suspected a urinary tract infection, treated with antibiotics, both shot and pills, vitamin B, and prednisone, and he improved quickly, for $69.00. I contacted the owners of Seneca clinic, Drs. Green & Riney, and Dr. Berlin, explained the bad experience in detail, NO RESPONSE. I live close by and patronize local businesses, but regret Seneca Animal Hospital, don’t recommend them… they treated me as tho they need money!
