We eat here often, even tho it is 12 miles from home. They have the best home-cooked food you can get at any restaurant. Breakfast is served 24-hrs a day, and Grampas makes grits to just die for. You get warm pastry as soon as you sit down. Great way to welcome a customer!! They have fresh specials for lunch daily and the choices are varied, delicious, and very reasonably priced. All their bread and pastry is made right there and when you taste it you'll know it. It has been featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives on satellite tv (food channel or travel channel...I can't remember) and Guy Fieri (sp.) raved about it. I highly recommend this little jewel tucked in on US 1 in Dania Beach, FL. It's like eating at home with a family of long-time staff and friendly management
