Review content:
HE COULD HAVE EASILY TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF US, BUT DIDN'T. Other than his knowledge, this is the thing that impressed me most about Mr. Upchurch. I read where somebody else said the same thing. My wife and I don't know anything about well pump systems, and we needed water NOW. If he said we needed a new pump, we would've bought it. But he didn't do that. (I wrongly assumed the pump was the problem.) He only replaced the worn out leaking tank, and the burned out pressure switch. He could've said several other things should be replaced and we would've gone right along with it, but he didn't. HE DIDN'T TRY TO FIND OTHER THINGS TO SELL US like a lot of service people will do. He checked the parts, & if they were OK, he moved to the next. (That's when you know you've got the right guy: when he doesn't go for the money even though it would be easy to. My old mechanic was like that.) He said our pump could have quite a few years left in it, and to use it until it quits. That saved us over a $1000. Thank You Walter's Well Pump repair service! That was a year and a half ago. (I just recommended Walter to a friend, and that, along with my wife, reminded me I never got around to writing this.) Our pump is still working fine. But when it finally quits, Walter is the guy we will call.
