BJ's Pawn Shop - Unless you are prepared to get low-balled beyond all reason while at the same time receiving slow, rude service, don't go here!! As soon as you walk in the door, you can automatically feel the repressive, disconcerted attitudes of everyone that is working there. Fair warning: if you go to this pawn shop, you can expect to get treated like a junkie, a criminal, and an inhuman piece of meat. While I understand that it is a pawn shop and they probably do receive much of their business from those types (junkies/criminals), it doesn't make it any less offensive to someone who isn't of this phenotype to walk into this place and get treated as such. I'd honestly expect to get better service and more respect at an inner-city police station than this poor excuse for a business. I was called deluded by the so-called manager after I turned down their ridiculous offer of only 40% the market value on some silver that I was trying to sell. You, sir, are the one who is deluded for insulting a first time (now only time) customer attempting to give you good business. I will never go back to BJ's after the poor treatment I received. Case and Point: If you're looking for good service, a respectful environment, and fair treatment then BJ's Pawn Shop is not the place for you! If you like being treated like a rational, conscious human being, I wouldn't recommend even walking in the door, much less attempting to do business with these deluded, repressive people.
