We have stayed at the Campbell Inn twice. The first time was in July of 2006 and again in July of 2008. I don't understand why anyone wouldn't rate it 5 star. You can't compare it to the Hilton because it's a different style completely. I love the quaintness of it. It has nice landscaping. The maid service is great. The breakfast bar is unbelievable. When we were there it offered fruit of all kinds, breads, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, pancakes, hash browns, oatmeal, coffee, orange juice. I can't even remember everything. We had a room with an adjoining sitting room. The sitting room had a fireplace and a private balcony. The bathroom had a double whirlpool tub, and a separate shower/sauna. How many places can you go and have your own private sauna? I absolutely loved that feature. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, iron & ironing board, & vanity area separate from bathroom. Other amenities are biking/walking trail (bikes are complimentary), tennis court, swimming pool, jacuzi, it's close to interstates, it's close to shopping & restaurants. What more can you ask for? Don't pay any attention to the bad reviews. Some people just like to find things to complain about so they can get their money back and have a free ride. The current managers have only been there about 2 1/2 years and they bend over backwards to make your stay there a good one. Kudos to Chuck and Patricia Allen. Pros: breakfast bar, sauna in room, private balcony, clean, close to restaurants & interstates
