I heard about Taste of India on Okeechobee Blvd. and went there with a friend. So glad I did! The food was fantastic! I went during the lunch buffet and had a small bit of the Butter Chicken, two small pieces of Tandoori Chicken, two pieces of goat meat, some basmati rice and a small amount of a few other items. The Butter Chicken was awesome and the Tandoori Chicken was very tasty. But the star of the buffet was was the goat meat. It is the best goat meat I have ever had. It was very tender and it was seasoned perfectly. My second trip to the buffet yielded just goat, Butter Chicken, rice and salad. You are also served fresh, warm naan bread at your table. (By the way...all meats served are halal). My dining companion also order a meal to go from their menu. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. And I can't stress "QUALITY" enough. Although all seats were occupied, the interior was very roomy and the chairs and tables were not jammed close together as to be almost on top of each other. The decorations were very tasteful, but not so overwhelming as to be distracting. To complete the atmosphere, there was a large screen TV showing a Bollywood movie. Last but not least, the wait staff was very efficient, accommodating, pleasant and friendly. I will be going back very soon for their dinner service. I can't wait! Will keep you updated.
