I would like to know how this place,and for that matter many nursing facilities rank four stars? I have been a nurse for 24 years.,and I can count on on hand the places I would allow any family member to reside. And may I say this is not one of them. I could expand on why but would take more than a few paragraphs. Let me just say this You should not place the elderly among people who have chemical dependency issues,and may I further say you cannot defer people that have developing problems that occur on Tuesday ie; Resp distress,elevated temp,N/V and leave it to the unfortunate nurse working 11-7 on a Friday who then has the problem and has to Contact the MD @1:00Am and send the person to the Hospital. this happens at many places not frequently but it does happen.
Pros: Proximity to Hospital
Cons: Understaffed,Too many residents requiring staff focus on MH/D&A issues,Admin staff not accessable to nursing staff.Parking not always available
