So I'm new to the area and was going off reviews to find someone who could do the alterations I needed on a bridesmaid dress. I found Kimberley and it seemed great, I took the dress into her, we talked about taking in the bust and the sides, bringing up the shoulders and the hem. $130 total for all of it, ok thats fine I can deal I was asking a lot to be done and she said she could have it done in a week. So I go pick up the dress today, put it on and the bust is way too big, as soon as I stop having perfect posture the shoulders fall right off (not ok for a catholic wedding). I bring this up and she just argues with me saying she'd have to cut new arm holes and it wouldn't look right. I leave, done arguing and call the bride on my way home. She says no, it should be fine she should have just taken in the bust at the sides which she was supposed to do anyway. I call her up and she starts yelling at me telling me that I'm wrong and that the dress shouldn't fit that way. Also that she never charged me to fix the bust (which we had discussed as it was too big from the beginning). I ask if she could fix it without charging me anymore because it was what I was originally told was going to happen. She says no, because she would need to re-do the arm holes it would be $50.
Basically I'm very disappointed she didn't do as was asked of her and then tried to charge me again to do what should have been done in the first place. I'll never go back and never recommend her to anyone. Looks like I need to find a new tailor to fix this dress in the week that I have before the wedding...
Also she's cash only which is way annoying, not many people carry that much cash on them at any point in time. Get with the times and get a credit card machine.
