Review content:
I have trained, boarded and have had groomed 8 Labrador Retrievers at Misty Pines since about 1995.
We still go to to school almost every Saturday. My dogs are in the All Level and Advanced classes. We also participate in charity and other events with Misty Pines.
The instructors are exceptional and are open to new ideas and suggestions on what to specifically train for in those classes.
My dogs are titled hunting and field dogs and need things to be done a little bit differently during class. My requests have always been accommodated by the instructors beginning with Puppy class to the Advanced class.
These folks understand that what my crew needs is often not the routine class exercises. Doing something different is A-OK and encouraged.
Obviously, I have supported Misty Pines for going on 20-years now. IF anyone ever got out of line, exhibited an attitude or handled an issue less than courtesly or, most important, in an unprofessional manner, my Labradors would never have stepped a paw in the door again and I would have written a scathing review a long time ago.
I've been in the Pittsburgh retriever world a long time as have many of my friends who train at Misty Pines - not one of us would hesitate a half-second to recommend this training facility to anyone regardless if they were training field dogs, competition dogs or companion dogs.
Jeff and Amy Woods and their staff work tirelessly and are just terrific. They have earned an A+++ in my book.
Misty Pines does more accidently for their clients and charties than others do on purpose. These folks just don't pay lip service and talk a good game - they live it.
