Review content:
Beautiful grounds. Great outdoor man-made pond. Again, 3 - 4 months out of the year. Well posted and good rules about dog bullying in the fenced dog park area. However, its on the small side and can get crowded quick. Not necessarily staffed or always monitored. You can report incidents but when a dog park is private and charges for use, there is a reasonable expectation of staff enforcing rules and being on-site while its open. Friends of ours are hunters and have a pure breed bird dog. They sing praises for the bird dog training here. Never used the grooming b/c the wait list was so long to schedule. Overnight boarding can have a very long wait list too. Kennels are walled to about your waist then chain link, noisy, but clean. Something like 60 dog capacity........might be too much chaos for certain breeds. ?? No suites or upgraded kennels available that I found. Friends' dogs seemed completely stressed out after a three night stay. Staff interact professionally with the exception one male that is impatient. Nice retail store geared mostly to the outdoorsmen or hunting crowd. Clean facility. Prices are reasonable but, in my opinion, match the accommodations for overnight boarding. Obedience classes are pushed hard here with people voicing mixed results. Boarders pay for playtime. Its a bit off the beaten path, accessible from I-79, back roads otherwise.
