I went to a few businesses around the Portland area that buy gold to sell my gold and silver that I no longer had any use for. I visited 3 gold dealers and Valley Goldmine Portland gave me the best price for my jewelry. They were also very professional.
The one thing that was the most impressive was that they were located in a very nice neighborhood in a professional office building. I felt completely safe bringing my valuables to them.
I sat down with Eric Wold, the owner, and he gave me some very good advice on one of my pieces. It was an old pocket watch. He advised me not to sell it to him as it would have greater value to sell it as it is rather than just for the gold.
I found that doing business with Valley Goldmine Portland to be a very good experience.
