Review content:
I had heard awful things about Pearl's Place, but like an idiot I still chose to get my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses from there. The girl that helped me with my dress was nice. Little did I know it was only to make the sale. I thought free alterations thats great. I didn't realize they expected everyone to have their dresses altered 3 months before the wedding! When I went in for my alterations they gave me the dress and ignored me after that. The seamstress was nice to me. WHen the dresses came in for my bridesmaids THEY WERE THE WRONG COLOR!!! The women there said ""sometimes the reems of fabric are off"" nothin we can do. The dresses were suppost to be navy they came in light royal blue. My bridesmaid were all treated badly! Soon enough I found out that I would also get insaulted infront of a room full of strangers as well as my family. When I went to the store after my alterations to pick my dress up they asked me to try it on before I signed it out. No Problem I thought. I felt very confident because I had lost 5 Lbs. since my alterations. The woman who strung my dress up was comparable to the devil. She was stringing my dress up and says to me,""If you gain another lb. you will not fit into this dress on your wedding day."" I took the constructive criticism and didn't think anything past I lost 5lbs. whats she talking about. Shes got my dress half way strung up when she says to me,""YOU DISCUST ME, YOU GAIN 1 MORE LB. YOU'LL EMBARASS YOURSELF ON YOUR WEDDING DAY DO YOU SEE YOUSELF"" She then refused to finish and left me half strung up in the middle of the room standing on a pedistal. Shes ruined the way I should feel in my dress. My wedding is coming up and this mean woman has made me dread getting into that dress. I am a size six and feel this way so I empathize with the brides I've read about who are plus sizes. EVERYONE DESERVES TO FEEL BEAUTIFUL!!! I will tell everyone I know to avoid that place. Pros: good selection Cons: the meanest people ever
