Businiess name:  Thyrien, Andrea, Dvm - Deer Creek Animal Hospital

Review content:
I've taken my birds to this animal hospital several times but this time I met Dr. Tayrien. She was extremely thorough with my Quaker parrot who had been plucking belly, leg and wing feathers. After the exam I received a comprehensive report as to Boo's overall health which set my mind at ease...more than likely a change in my schedule had caused Boo some anxiety which prompted the plucking. Dr. Tayrien nevertheless gave him medication for a parasite just to be on the safe side. She also recommended that I put all my birds on a pellet diet instead of seed. The entire staff at this clinic was professional, friendly, helpful. This also happens to be one of very few clinics in the Johnson Co. area which also attends to birds. I believe I'll be taking all my animals (6 birds, 8 cats, 4 dogs) to Deer Creek from now on. The office is convenient to Joshua, Crowley, Burleson, and S. Ft. Worth. Give them a try!!! Pros: ample parking, interesting in-house entertainment in the form of aquariums and a feisty African Grey Cons: No cut across to the office from eastbound 1187; had to drive past one mile and turn around
