Review content:
When making my appointment on the phone, I asked if there was anyone there experienced in working with ethnic hair. I wanted a shampoo and blow-out. I was told they could accommodate me. When I arrived, my tech, Kathy told me she thought I would have short hair (why would she think this?). No one asked the length of my hair on the phone (my hair is mid-back length and not coarse). She was not experienced in working with textured hair at all. She first attempted to roller set me, then realized I would not fit under the dryer. Then she decided to blowdry it, but first wanted to comb through my hair with a fine-tooth comb. I decided to comb it out myself with my personal comb. My hair, upon leaving, looked worse than when I arrived. Really poorly done. Kathy tried very hard, and was quite pleasant, she simply did not have experience with my hair type.
