I highly recommend Tia for styling and Adrena for coloring. I gladly followed them from their former salon since they have been doing my hair for YEARS, and I've never been happier w/ my naturally curly hair! Tia is very down to earth and comfortable to be around. She can do what you want w/ your hair, or implement a fresh idea if you leave the creativity up to her. Adrena is the best colorist, I love the subtle highlights that I get for my mousy brown hair - no ""frosted"" look like you often get at cheaper salons. I thought Fresh Salon might feel uncomfortable for me if it was too upscale, but it wasn't, the atmosphere was trendy w/o being snooty - very friendly and casual. I must say I'm a fan of assistants not being used (your stylist and/or colorist stay w/ you the whole time). Then there are the extra perks. The decor will actually improve your mood - it's so bright and airy - think FRESH! And the complimentary drinks are a very thoughtful perk by the owner (especially from my son's point of view, who had to tag along for my 1st appointment - but he loved it too - nice comfy couch to hang out on). Overall I am thrilled w/ Fresh Salon. It's a longer drive for me from south of Waxhaw, but definitely worth it. Give it a try, you won't regret it!
