Manager Danny Bojaj at the Rochester Discount Tire store provided excellent service in October 2010 by ordering a set of Yokohama AVID Envigor tires from the warehouse for my car on a Monday and installing them Thursday promptly at my appointment time. I was pleased that these new tires were just manufactured in August; whereas my previous new set of Pirelli P Zero Nero tires, purchased at Belle Tire in Rochester several years ago, were already 9 months old when they were installed! The mounting at DT took less than 1 hour despite my opting for the more involved ""match mounting/road force"" dynamic-balancing procedure. Few tire dealers even offer that installation process, but according to TireRack, it is the only way to accurately match-mount replacement tires. That procedure is very worthwhile, particularly for today's high-performance tires and wheels, in order to obtain optimal balance. I immediately noticed the perfectly smooth ride and lack of high-speed vibration in my car compared to my old tires that had previously not undergone that advanced mounting/balancing technique. DT's price for this service (using state-of-the-art ""Hunter Road Force Balancing"" equipment) was only $10/tire extra, while some custom shops apparently charge up to $25/tire more for that same process. My tire installation was flawless, with no scratching or marking of my car's sport wheels. In addition, DT offered a $40 rebate ($10/tire) on my purchase, which was conveniently redeemed via a simple online application at their Web site. DT's attractive pricing, superb custom service from ordering through installation, and their comfortable waiting-room area make that dealer far superior to other tire stores in the area. This review may read like it was written by a DT employee, but I don't work for the company. However, I am a car enthusiast who thoroughly researches equipment purchases for my vehicle, and I am a very satisfied customer of the Rochester Discount Tire dealer.
