I heard about Tir na nOg on 100.7 the River talking about Local Beer Local Band Pint Night on Tuesdays and figured that I would give it a shot. First of all, that is a really cool idea! Each week they get a local band to play and feature a beer from North Carolina on draught for $2.50. If you are one of the first hundred in the door, after 7 I think, you get to keep the glass!! The inside of the pub has that old Ireland feel to it with an actual cottage built inside the building - which was pretty neat! I found the staff to be pretty attentive and the food to be pretty good! For all of you looking for a Tuesday destination, I would recommend this one.
Pros: Friendly staff, food, music
Cons: They only had Strongbow Cider and not Bulmers - not a major complaint
