Review content:
While i was at this dentist, they were kind to me in person. However, be wary of what you allow to happen in the exam room. They disregard the knowledge of what insurance companies typically cover. The staff failed to check my dental history. They did a complete set of xrays on my mouth that i had done recently by my last dentist, without asking or checking with me. I was never given the option to refuse a full mouth xray exam. This totaled 96 dollars that they would have known would not be covered if they had done good patient care. But, alas, why should they care? They know that when the insurance company denied the claim they can just bill the patient for all the money. I was submitted to radiation exposure i did not need. When i called to talk to their office, they said, oh well, it's not our job to check if you have had xrays. I disagree. My past dental records have a great deal to do with testing and care given to me. And i am greatly bothered that i was exposed to radiation that was unnecessary. The dentist did seem very skilled, and i liked him tremendously, but if you go to them realize you may end up paying for more than you expect.
Pros: friendly in person, skilled staff
Cons: unethical, disregard of dental history, disregard of costs
