Here is a story. We went on vacation and accidently locked out house keys in the apartment. We called RIGHT away to inform the office and ask them to take the lock out key, open our door and leave our keys under the mat. I made the leasing agent call me to ensure it was done so we wouldn't have to spend the whole vacation worrying. We knew the office would be closed when we returned and we didn't want to be locked out after a long day of traveling. The agent called us back to let us know it had all been taken care of and we were relieved. TURNS OUT, WE GOT HOME AT MIDNIGHT AND IT HAD NEVER BEEN DONE. I was locked out with the flu after a day of traveling. We had to stay the night in a hotel because when we called the emergency lock out number, they didn't have a lock out key for our apartment. It was HORRIBLE. I have never registered to write a review for anything, but I honestly want to save someone from buying into this place. The apartments appear to be nicer/newer than most, but they are slowly being destroyed by the trashy residents living 10 to a place. This place has LOVELY potential when we first signed a lease with here. The team was INCREDIBLE and did everything to ensure that we were comfortable paying a lot more to enjoy a luxurious apartment. But after living here for a year and a half, everything has fallen apart. There has been 3-5 teams since the first one. Every one is worse than the last. They have lost checks, over charged and waited 3+ weeks to cash our rent checks. It seems like every other week, I am receiving a letter about unpaid rent. I ALWAYS pay on time, never underpay and am a genuinely organized person. I am sad that I have dumped so much money into a place that pretends to be fancy. It's not worth the money and I am inclined to yell ""DON'T DO IT!"" when I see people taking tours. Also, there isn't enough parking for residents and one day they just decided to start giving tickets. I parked in the same spot for months and one day I woke up with a 50 dollar ticket. Take your money elsewhere. Greystar is a JOKE.
