I just thought Carpinteria was a cute small town and everyone loved this shop and that's why it has all these great reviews.... WRONG. Click on any of the profiles from the reviews....the only review they have is for this place...fishy. I took my car there, they had it for 3 days and didn't bother to call me about it once. I had to call them, and each time I did I got a different story. ""Oh we're looking at it right now! we'll call you in a hour"".....hours later, nothing. I called the next morning ""oh we haven't looked at it yet..."" what do you mean you haven't looked at it? Then they told me oh wait they HAD looked at it, but nothing was wrong, well guess what, I took it home and now I can't drive it because it's having the exact same problem again...In short I paid $111 diagnostic fee for absolutely nothing, and I'm not convinced they even looked at it at all.
There are plenty of other auto shops in Carp. So skip this one and head to one that has their act together.
