Review content:
An elitist NYSC member transplanted to LA I sampled every gym from Sepulveda to Speedway. LA Sports Club, Bodies in Motion, Ballys, 24 Hr Fitness and even muscle beach. In Venice, Gold's seems like the natural choice (it groomed our governor afterall). However, after a brief stint in that over-crowded, undercleaned ego-machine, I found the gym I was looking for. P FIT on Lincoln Boulevard. The highly personalized attention from expert staff has revolutionized my relationship to fitness. Kevin, Brian, Carl and Michael are the first to congratulate me on a workout well done, but more specifically notice if (when) I cut a few reps, or minutes of cardio. For goal-driven individuals, the techno-fit equipment is unparalleled. Upon membership you are given a ""Key"" that keeps track of calories burned, miles ran and weights lifted. Each machine remembers your personal settings and records your progress and performance. If a more personal approach is what you seek, training sessions with expert advisors will get you red carpet (reunion, date, summer) ready in NO time (these guys DONT mess around!). If the aforementioned gushing testimonial isn't enough to at least peek your interest, the three total deal breakers for me were: 1)Cost (monthly rates breakdown to less than a latte a day) 2) Treadmill/Elliptical Availability (I've never ONCE waited, nor been asked to evacuate any cardio equipment) 3) Amble parking (When I have an hour in the morning, I have an hour, not an hour + another 20 minutes to find parking). You can be in and out w/ 500 calories burned and a pat on the back before your friend at Gold's has found a spot and scored a stairclimber! Happy Health! Pros: Paramount Staff, Advanced Equipment, Expansive Layout Cons: N/A
