Id like to say right off the bat that I'm not someone who complains often. This is the first time Ive decided to post it online to give you an idea of how disappointed I truly am. I took my car to the Bel Air NTB to have the oil changed along with some other minor services, nothing to difficult. I tend to be a person who thinks in order to get something done right you must do it yourself and in this in confirmed my opinion. Shortly after the technicians had my vehicle they came into the waiting room and asked how exactly to open the hood. I thought this was an odd question coming from people that pop hoods on a variety of vehicles everyday, but thought well Ill show them anyway. I walked over pulled the interior hood release and felt no tension as if the cable was snipped. While doing this I have 3 technicians looking at me as a deer would in headlights. After this I looked at the three of them waiting on some sort of explanation or comment you know customer service or something of the sort. Now, I'm a bit of a car guy and I take care of my vehicle as well. The day before I opened my hood and checked my fluids thus the reason for the NTB visit, when I had performed this inspection I had no such issue with the hood or even an indication. The cars not old. Now I understand things break over time so a little honesty from the technicians would have been helpful and I would have chalked the issue up to a worn part, but the demeanor of the technicians said a bit more. I was taken to the front desk and told the manager would be out shortly. I waited about 10-15 minuted and finally had a chance to speak with the manager. The manger then walks out to my car pulls the lever again, tells me it must have been the individual that changed the oil last and suggest I take it to the dealer. An apology, explanation, and/ or an ounce of customer service and management skills would have been nice at this point. The manager heads back to his office and leaves me with one of the technicians. The technician walks to the desk cancels the slip and and hands me the paper as if to say SEE YA!!! I had a few words with the technician over the poor service and he had nothing to say. So now I'm stuck with a large bill getting my hood open and repaired. Ive contacted NTB corporate and I'm waiting on a call back. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else. TRUST ME!!!!!
