Review content:
II will no longer recommend Sharif's. I have been a customer since 1987. Seven months ago at the Folsom store, they ""repaired"" my diamond engagement ring by replacing the 6 prong setting with a 4 prong one without my knowledge. My beautiful diamond fell out last month and was lost. When I came in to look at another diamond, they asked for a $200 deposit to hold the new diamond for a few days. When I could not come in for a couple of weeks, I called to have it put back. I found out later that they DO NOT REFUND DEPOSITS - STORE CREDIT ONLY! After an argument, they returned my deposit. Now I can see that even my first diamonds were set in these cheap settings and that is why I had lost a small diamond previously. You don't have to be rich and famous to shop there, but you better be on your guard or they WILL take advantage of you. All the smiling sales girls, coffee and donuts in the world would not make me go back. Pros: Pretty smiling salesgirls who know nothing, sweets and coffee to distract you Cons: Know what you are buying, do research first, be specific, do not trust too much
