Auction Direct of Victor,NY sold my girlfriend a 2009 chevy cobalt in May 2010. There was a recall on the car but the work was never done at Auction Direct. They knew about the recall but never mentioned it at all. By chance I asked my local chevy dealer if there was any recalls outstanding and the informed me that the steering motor HAD to be replaced ASAP--they did it at no charge to her. This car was a rental and they to did not fix the recall. They also told her the Fob wasn't working because of bad batteries-like fools we believed auction direct and came home with a car with a Fob that did not work and had to be REPLACED at a cost of $225.00. So new buyers BEWARE of AUCTION DIRECT sneaky practices and their excess pressure they put on customers to BUY their warranty products.
