Review content:
Called them on the phone, was quoted $40 to clean out the carburetor jets on my rototiller. After loading up the rototiller and bringing it to the shop they said they couldn't do it for $40. Now, they would need to replace the gas tank also, total cost $110. Since it was already there, I reluctantly agreed and paid a deposit. They said it would be ready next week. 3 weeks and 4 phone calls later it was finally ready. When I went to pick it up they presented me a bill for $250, said ""There was other work they had to do"". I told them this was ridiculous, the rototiller was barely worth that, they never received authorization for the additional work. He was, also, very vague on what this 'extra' work entailed. When I pressed him on these points he began yelling saying that the work was done and I had to pay. What a rip, but there was little I could do. I didn't have a written estimate (they never gave me one). They had my rototiller and the only way I could get it back was to pay their ransom. That had me and they knew it.
