Review content:
Dr. Ken Redman and his staff are the best. Our Samoyed, Portia, was 12 years old when we moved to Chapel Hill from Virginia. She started to have problems with her hips, bladder and bowel control, as well as skin and ear issues. Since she was already an old lady, Dr. Ken was terrific about understanding that we didn't want to be overly aggressive in her treatments. So we tried a lot of different approaches. Some were helpful and some were not, but I felt like we were completely in synch with how to proceed. We also boarded Portia at Vine when we travelled since they gave her her own room, dispensed her myriad of medications, had the special food there, and did not charge us extra for the extra work in cleaning up after her ""indiscretions."" They bathed and groomed her. We felt like she was very well taken care of in her last years of life. We'll be getting another dog soon, and Dr. Redman will be the first person we take our new puppy to!
Pros: reasonable prices, treats old dogs with special care
Cons: older facility?
