Businiess name:  Trattoria Dopo Teatro

Review content:
As a resident of New York for many years, I have always thought it best to avoid the Theatre District for dining options. Even when attending a show I usually dine further downtown to avoid crowds and the ridiculous overpriced cuisine that is common in that area. That being the case, Trattoria Dopo Teatro was a welcome surprise. It was recommended to me by a friend who promised that I wouldn't be disappointed and she was definitely right! The waiters were extremely friendly (one even sang a spirited ""Happy Birthday"" to my fiancee at the end of our meal, complete with candle!), the service was quick, and the food was delicious. For main courses, I had a creamy and filling seafood risotto which was one of the specials of the day, and my fiancee had a pasta with wild boar (his first time trying it!) that was delectable. The staff was courteous and considerate, the wine list was HUGE, and when the check came I was pleased to see that it was a fraction of the price we would have expected to pay for food of this quality and in this location. You would be hard pressed to find a better deal in this area. Needless to say, I have since been recommending it to others, and we will be returning. I don't typically write restaurant reviews, but this place is a great find, particularly for theatre-goers.
