There was nothing special about this restaurant experience--in fact, it was downright bad and very disappointing for a Saturday night! The service was very slow (yet we ate at 5:30 when there was no crowd), and our food was lukewarm when brought to the table (as if we had been overlooked and it was sitting for a while before being delivered). The lobster raviolis were two dry half moons of pasta glued together with barely any filling, and I had to ask for more sauce. The other pasta dishes were no better than anything you could make at home, and a beef short ribs dish was also dry and needed more sauce. We couldn't get out of there fast enough, with no desire for coffee and dessert. Go down the street to John's or Carmine's when in the theater district--this place is overpriced and a waste of time and money!!
