Review content:
My dog Shorty went to Dr. Newland a while back because he had a growth on his hip. Without doing any type of tests, bloo d work.. NOTHING he just looked at him and said your dog has a cancerous tumor and nothing can be done. He said the only choice later down the road is to put him down. After Shorty suffered and recently stopped eating, we took him to a different vet. They done many tests and confirmed that this growth was a HERNIA NOT A TUMOR. They stated if the first vet would have actually done something about it when it was at an early stage, he could have lived. Since it was no longer at an earlier stage, he had to be put down so he would no longer suffer. How can someone be a vet and do this? I will never return to Dr. Newland or refer anyone to him. Maybe if he would have had put heart, care and knowledge in his work, I would think otherwise. You broke a family's heart as Shorty was part of our family.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Misdiagnosed my pet. Resulted in death.
