Martha is incredible.....
It has been a total of almost year and a half since our paths crossed. Martha spent almost 4 hours talking to us about diamonds and what we should be looking for. It was amazing. Martha encouraged us to do research before making a final choice. I originally wanted a diamond straight from the ground with no buffing or anything. Martha showed me there was a better way. She showed me a champagne diamond...who knew I liked color? Martha...she suggested something unique that no one else would ever have...Even after all of that...we still wanted to look....Martha encouraged us but, she also told us we would be back.......so.......
We had been to Jared...where I was told that my desire for a simple one stone ring was a just ""promise"" ring. I didnt want little baguettes and other junk around it...just the stone. Simplicity is not
We went to the diamond place tucked in the corner behind Olive Garden on Cobb Parkway...cant even remember the name, it sucked ...it was a meat market and no one even noticed when we came through the door. I hate when Im treated like a number. Dirty looking with horrible seating and lighting and the staff look harried.
We went to Shane's.... nice location...looked ok inside....the person that spoke to us seemed disinterested....yet again that 1 diamond thing was really throwing everybody off....
Back to CDE and Martha. My experience with her and the care and handling of our decision to shop there made me feel like I was THE ONLY person in the world. The attentiveness and even her ability to remember who we were when we walked through the door...priceless, we were at our jewelry home....from there it was effortless... I got my one stone AND it was champagne and as unique as I am AND the price was UNREAL.....so unreal we went back and got our wedding bands.... we were married 11/11/11 and my wedding band made of champagne stones set in a channel ( I bang my hand a lot...I am a piano teacher) has eleven stones....Martha looked hard ...really really really really hard to find small stones that would compliment us and our vision. My husband found a band in a book he liked and Martha got us several selections from that book to look at and compare.
Martha and the staff at CDE made this sooooooooooooooooo easy....seriously effortless. I highly recommend going back. I know because of my husands watch fetish I will be back soon!!!!
Oh and as of this date...Martha has called and checked in on us....just to say hello....!!! I love it!
