Not sure what's going on. Read so many sterling reviews about the barbecue. Highest rated barbecue from Texas Monthly. Ate there this weekend. People behind the counter could not have been nicer. Sausage link good, nice flavor and spice. Beef rib tender and juicy, very little flavor. Brisket, maybe the worst I've eaten. Tough, could not tear apart, had to cut it. Not chewable, dry and flavorless. Side of bean just boiled pintos, tasted like a boiled bean. Don't forget, there is no sauce, just a cup of beef juice to dip the meat into. Glad to have made the journey, now I don't have to go back.
Pros: friendly service, hospitable, good links
Cons: flavorless bbq, tough meat
