I work with about 100 Veterinarians across the state of Nebraska. I am familiar with the standard of care each Dr. chooses and how they charge their clients. Dr. Jim and Columbus Animal Hospital is impressive for many reasons. He keeps himself and his staff educated on the most recent information and provides his clinic with advanced equipment and therapies. This is very expensive to do, veterinarians have to purchase their own equipment, supplies, pay for the building and pay staff members salaries and benefits. I am always amazed when a client complains about the measly charges that they are asked to pay such as exam fees and prescription fees. Are they not aware that a veterinarian has the same amount of schooling that a human doctor has but yet accepts being paid a very small amount? Are they not aware that the insurance company is paying for most of these expenses when they go to the doctor? Dr. Jim charges very little and many times is taking a loss on the services that he provides. He does this because he wants every pet to have the best care possible. At Columbus animal Hospital you and your pet will be treated with respect and will receive the best care possible at a price that is more than reasonable. It is wonderful to have such a high standard of vet care accessible to you!
