Review content:
Target World is clean, safe (for the most part) and has a wide selection of firearms that you will not normally find in most gun shops. The prices are high and are not warranted considering the quality of the customer service. Target World's staff (for the exception of a few individuals) is condescending, occasionally incompetent, and treats you like they're doing YOU a favor by showing you a firearm.
The customers that usually frequent Target World are varied but all share the common trait of stupidity or ignorance. You will hear some very ignorant and occasionally dangerous things at TW. Such things will normally be heard from the customer base or staff. The customer base is attracted because they saw something new in a gun magazine or they see the sign on the highway. They usually are not intelligent firearm owners because intelligent firearms owners realize Target World's prices are absurd. The range and the dumb people are what keep most intelligent shooters away from Target World.
This is all very comforting when you consider you're sharing a range with these people and they have the combined intelligence of a small child. If you doubt my claims of ignorant customers at Target World take a gander at the ceiling of the indoor range. It resembles something between swiss cheese and something that belongs in a Liberian war zone.
All of these factors combine to make Target World the only range you can see and handle hard to find firearms, and shoot a gun indoors in the city of Cincinnati past sundown. These two factors are probably what keep Target World in business.
Alternative businesses are Shooters Indoor Range of Kentucky (15 miles south of Cinci), Vandalia Shooters Range (near Dayton), Shooters Supply Shop near Loveland (not related to KY) and many other business which do not fulfill the ignorant firearm owner stereotype.
Pros: They have many different types of firearms.
Cons: They are the Wal-Mart of gunshops.
