Any good review below must be from Ms. May. My personal experience with May Law Group was nothing short of horrific. When we first met Ms. May was very sweet, but alarms should have went off in my head when she proceeded to talk badly about another immigration lawyer in the area. Not only was this unprofessional, now I see it was a sad attempt at getting my money without meeting with the other lawyer. After signing up I worked with 4 different paralegals, each one knew less about my case then the last. At one point a law affecting my case changed and I had to inform the paralegal about it - she had no idea! I begged the receptionist for days to speak with Ms. May and was given excuse after excuse. Finally I called her cell phone number that was on her business card and was screamed at for bothering her - after she refused to have anything to do with my case for months! At that point my case was already 7 months past the time she said it would be finished. This is when I dropped May Law Group and started the battle to get my file. I was screamed at and threatened due to an outstanding bill even though I was on a payment plan and Ms May refused to give me my original birth certificate! Thankfully I stood my ground and got my file after threatening to file a complaint - something I plan on doing anyway. No ""professional"" carries out business this way!
