Review content:
We were really upset when we came to take our birds back and saw one of our bird had a leg problem. We've had bird for many years and it NEVER exhibited any problems with her feet/legs. She was fine at the day when we brought her and spent about 30 min with her and put her in a cage before to leave. No symptoms while I was in the store. We called after 2 days and Marleen said both birds were fine. AND, then, when we arrived t and the first thing she sad is, ""You did not tell me that your bird has a funny foot."" A bit of an odd thing to say first breath. Why not mention same when we called to her? We find this all a bit suspicious to be frank. The fact that she claimed to have written a note on our paperwork, about bird's foot, on the arriving day does not mean much either. Lastly, it seems implausible that a bird just given a clean bill of health at the vet and a bird that never experienced any problems physically suddenly has a leg/foot problem the very day we drop her off at the store.??? Bird is fine now after her treatment for $600 during 6 weeks!
