Review content:
I joined Iron and SIlk fitness because it opened across the street from my apartment and it is now too cold to run outside. And thank goodness for winter or I may never have met stewie (the owner) and his team who have given me the encouragement and desire to take my workout to the next level. I have been a member of the New York Sports Club as well as the Health and Racquet club and this is the first time I have had a positive feeling about my gym. What makes it special is the small size and personal attention you get from the staff. That in combination with high end equipment and really cool bathrooms make it a gym i actually like going to. It's just what the east village has been missing!
Pros: great personal attention that I haven't seen in other gyms
Cons: not for someone who wants to be invisible in their gym
