I recently ran my first ever marathon, and although it was exhausting and left me quite sore, there was absolutely no knee pain whatsoever. As I was approaching that finish line chute at the end of the 26.2 miles I ran, I remembered thinking how extraordinary it was that I was able to do this considering my knee was obliterated before he performed the operation on me 15 months ago. Thank you Dr. Smith for all your hard work and rehabilitation!
