There is nothing fancy about the Woodshed but they know how to cook a perfect steak. I am in the food service industry and have had the pleasure of eating steak all over the country. The best steak I have ever eaten is at the lowly Woodshed in the small town of Stanley, NC. If you decide to go, be prepared to wait because everyone in Gaston County knows that this is the place for steak. Yes, it's in Gaston County but before you stick your nose in the air, give it a try. You will be glad that you did.
