As a child I had horrible experiences at the dentist's office. I quit going to dentists at age 15. When I turned 22 I needed to see a dentist and I just didn't know what to do. A friend recommended Highland Dental Clinic and Dr. Puntillo. One word to describe him and his office: AMAZING!!! He could tell I was scared to even have a cleaning so he gave me nitrous (laughing gas) to calm me down. His hygenist was very careful and went very slowly. It was a breeze! I had several cavities and made an appointment to return to have them fixed. When I returned I was given 2 shots of novicane and the nitrous...Dr. Puntillo then "tested" to see if I could still feel any pain. I could!!! So, he gave me 2 more shots and that took care of it. I didn't feel a thing. It's now 15 years later and I'm still going to Highland Dental Clinic. I no longer need the nitrous for the cleanings and I only rarely need the nitrous for fillings. The staff at this office are the friendliest I've ever encountered. I give this dentists office 5 stars! You won't be disappointed!
