Working downtown, I am always hoping to find a reasonably priced mechanic near work. This isn't it. Took my car in with a front end problem, walked out $1,600 lighter, for 2 cv axles, 2 struts and 1 tie rod end, and alignment. This seems extremely high. Over $900 in labor alone for a job done in 1 day. The mandatory 2 wheel alignment was $86.00 --highest price I've ever seen, and has a 30 DAY warranty. Was also charged $25 for ""shop supplies."" and another $ 25 for ""hazardous materials"" This is outrageous. Also, the bill does not mention the brand of parts installed, or the hourly labor rate.
