Not sure if Applewood's techs work on commission or what -- but the Applewood tech we had in here a couple of days ago told us that we needed to have all our kitchen drains and also the clay pipe sewer line outside the house completely replaced -- which was going to cost approximately $28,000.
We got another company in (Plumbline) and, after running their diagnostics/camera through our lines, they told us that, other than one 'break' in the sewer, the rest of our drains and the sewer itself were fine, and we only needed to fix the break itself and clean the rest of the lines -- and quoted us a price less than $4,000. THEY ALSO SAID if they did the work Applewood said was needed, it would have cost less than $15,000 total.
