My daughter got married last weekend and it was absolutely beautiful. The night before her wedding (7 PM), I got the phone call no one wants to ever get. The makeup artist (will not mention a name) called to tell me she was sick and will no longer be available to do makeup for my daughter, her 5 briedesmaides, myself, and the groom's mother. I PANICKED. I mean, this was a makeup artist I signed a contract with and gave a deposit to! After about an hour of sheer panic, I went to citysearch and found Shara. I called and prayed. Shara picked up the phone and listened as I explained what had happened. She did not interupt and only wanted to see if she could help. When I told her my daughter's wedding was the next afternoon, she told me I was very lucky. She already had a wedding, but it was an evening start and was not going to be there until 3:30. She did not take advantage of my situation and discussed her normal rated with me. It was set. That morning, I had hoped she wouldn't be a flake. She showed up, 10 minutes early and set up camp. She was an organized, beautiful woman, and she was ready to work. And Stacy, the bride looked soooo grogeous. I wish I could post pictures on here. Everyone was so happy with her, and I truly believe they would have not been so happy with the other artist, had she come. I am letting everyone know about Shara. I am so glad it all worked out. They say bad things always happen the day of an event that you plan and you just need to deal with it and move on. Well, this was a biggie and I am so happy to have found Shara.
