Dr Willock did an excellent job on my new filling. However, it cost me $1000. I came in for a filling, and was not told the price. The procedure was completed in the office by a high tech machine, and when I went to pay for the visit, I was shocked. No estimate was given, and i asked for the procedure. However, the going rate for a filling is $100-$200. The office manager gave both my husband and I rude and pushy phone calls and letters to get our bill paid. It was embarrassing and shameful how they handled our situation. I have had 12 amalgam filling removed since that horrible experience and NONE COST ME THAT MUCH $$$. Advice: there is a mercury free dentist in Charlotte, NC that charges much less. I was able to get 3 teeth done for the same price with safe mercury removal expertise just like Dr. Willock provided. Plus, Dr. Fleming in Durham take insurance and charges less.
