Review content:
I had a friend come up from San Diego and she's a huge foodie, so I was very excited to take her to Tanzore, which had won awards for the design and whose food came highly recommended. We arrived to find they had lost our reservation, and Joe, the maitre-D (I suppose?) was extremely rude about it, saying there was nothing available and offered no apology, nothing. Finally, after the only male in the group went up to complain for the third time about how poor their hospitality was, we were finally ""squeezed in"" and sat down by the snooty maitre-D, still no apology for their mistake of loosing our reservation. Finally, the food came and was simply OK. The tandori chicken was dry, the scallops fishy. The only decent dish was the lamb briyani, which was made in traditional Indian style, we might as well have gone to a traditional Indian restaurant for a third of the price. I do not recommend this place at all.
