If I could give them negative stars I would.
First and foremost, I do realize I called their #800 so I probably was not talking to someone in MI. That said and recognized, the girl I talked to was nice enough but when I canceled my service I was told they do ""price matching"" and I said yes but your fuel surcharges are what keep going up every quarter (paying close to $100, and the quarter before $80!). She said I had service til June and I said no thanks but then she proceeded to tell me that by paying my bill I was agreeing for another 3 months and that they do not pro-rate the bill. So I am out the money, paying for something I am not using ...another fine example of large corporations screwing over the little guy. Now I do take some responsibility for not reading the page long fine print but come on! Needless to say, good luck getting the 3 months from me. I will send them a check for the pro-rated amount but not a penny more. I will NEVER use Republic Waste ever again.
