I recently moved from Berkeley, CA to New York City and used California-NY express movers. I found them online I was shopping around different companies. I got quotes from several companies and not only was CANY the best price but they were the nicest and most user friendly! The helped me to estimate how much stuff I was going to have and even suggested websites to help as well! One great think about them is they charge by cubic feet, not weight (which a lot of movers do!) and in my case this worked out for the best! So we booked them and hoped for the best! When moving day came the truck showed up right on time, even called to let me know when they were 15 minutes away! The movers on the CA and NY side were all extremely nice and helpful and handled all my stuff with care! I would definitely use this company again and recommend it to other people. For the price I paid the service was outstanding and there were no hidden fees. The best part was they will store your things for up to a month for free so if you need time to find an apartment it works out well! They also give you email updates as the truck moves across the country.
Bottom line is all of my things arrived safely and on time, nothing was broken or missing! If you are making the move from CA to NY definitely check them out!
