I was moving from Los Angeles to Houston, Texas and called up these guys. I know their name is CA to NY movers, but I thought I would give it a chance, and I'm really glad I did. They come out to your house and survey your place and to tell you the approximate cost. Their movers are very courteous, friendly and patient. They packaged everything I had very carefully, and upon delivery put everything back together again for me.
Moving was made painless.
Also, i know what you're all wondering- what was the cost. For a one bedroom apartment, it was VERY COMPETITIVE, about 1/2 of what two other leading companies were charging.
A great company all around.
Pros: Friendly, courteous, nice and patient
Cons: Can't think of any.
