I called prior to inform them that my ferret was suffering from an allergic reaction to a distemper vaccination. On the phone a women stated that the vet on call was familiar with ferrets. Upon arrival they made me fill out info giving my SNN and credit card info and charged me $98.50. Then made me wait another 30 mins for the vet which knew nothing. He injured my ferret trying to take its temp and nearly dropped him after being bitten.(obviously had never even held a ferret in his life!) he argued with me for nearly 30 mins stating that he had a parasite and gave my a quote of 218 to save his life. he told me to pick and chose which medications i wanted to give!! All of which were too high of a dose and would most likely kill my ferret. I told him he just needed injectable benedryl and the doctor ask how much I wanted to give him???!!! I walked out now taking legal action. Cons: everything
