Review content:
I am not like the other athletic or former athletic people that have joined 501Fit. I am NOT athletic, have rheumatoid arthritis, have been a couch potato for years...and therefore obviously overweight. I joined 501Fit in January 2009, and I was going to try the strength training classes for only 8 weeks. I thought I would lose interest after that point. But I am surprised at how much fun I have at my work-outs, and how much confidence I have gained. I also don't feel awkward at the classes or in the gym the way I did at the bigger gyms that I have checked out (years and years ago). Phil and Diana are always watching to make sure we do the exercises correctly, encouraging us to push our limits, and changing the class so no two classes are ever the same. I always look forward to my classes, and feel disappointed when I can't go. My strength and balance have improved tremendously, and I have lost 30 pounds. You won't regret checking out 501Fit. Pros: friendly staff; clean environment; fun
